New College is extremely grateful for all donations and gifts that we receive from our alumni.
The Society Representatives keep all donations seperate from the main boat club funds so your donation will not get “lost” amongst everything else. These are used to run the society, but have also been used to purchase various items and pieces of equipment.
Amongst recent major donations have been the Vespoli M2, Yum K’ak’ Naab, the pride of our fleet and the training and racing shell of our Men’s 1st VIII since 2007; the Stampfli S8, Minerva, first raced by the Women’s 1st VIII in Summer Eights 2010; and a brand new Janousek coxed four that the men’s squad has been training in since Easter 2011.
We welcome alumni to come and see the advantages these gifts have afforded us during race weeks.
NCBC wishes to further strengthen our collection of boats. In particular, as soon as is possible we wish to purchase a new four for the women, and a men’s 2x/-, to deepen our pool of small boats.
Donations are handled by the New College Development Office, so please use one of the following forms. If you are a UK taxpayer, we would encourage you to sign the gift-aid declaration, so we can reclaim tax through your gift, increasing your donation by 28% at no cost to yourself. If you do not have printing facilities then please email the Secretary and we will post a copy of the form out to you immediately.
